After much anticipation, we received our first order today.
The communication about time of arrival was great.
Our 3 boxes came perfectly packed to ensure the cold chain was maintained.
We’re really impressed with the portion sizes that the meat is packed in, so it meant that everything could just go straight into the freezer without further handling.
We’ve already cooked up some beef sausages- really tasty, not full of fat or artificial flavours - just a good old fashioned thick snag.
Can’t wait to cook up a storm with the rest of our order.
We are looking forward to being returning customers as soon as we get through the 25kg we just received!!!
Our order arrived yesterday and I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was, the anticipation had been building in me from the day I decided to place an order, as this idea to buy our meat this way had been rattling around in my head for quite some time.
We invited our children over for a BBQ on the day to try it out and I can honestly say no one was disappointed. We cooked the Rump and sausages on an open kettle BBQ and I couldn’t wait to get it on my plate.
Words can not describe how tender and flavourful the rump was (cooked to medium). I have to ask ( how long has meat tasted this good ?) The sausages were also really tasty and not spitting oil/fat everywhere from within. A big call there from me as I don’t usually like sausages.
I meant to take photos of our dinner cooking on the BBQ but in the moment I forgot as my nose was busy smelling the bbq aroma and my taste buds were salivating in anticipation, however I did get photos of unpacked meat which is the 1/8 pack and 10 kg of pet mince,. Pooch deserves good food too 🐾🐕.

Loved the sausages! Just wish we could have more whole cuts as we batch / slow cook rather than eat steaks.
Didnt like the way it was cut up. The sausages.were terrible.its the worst beef i have ever had.
Loving the taste of grass fed beef. I miss nz alot because of the meat! Ive found my new butchery at last! Tastes amazing, well portioned and packaged and the best thing is, delivery is the day it says it is.
My next order will be the grass fed lamb
